Jessica brings a wealth of research and writing experience to her role as a research attorney for the firm. Prior to joining SPP, she worked as a research attorney with multiple private practitioners in Southeast Michigan. Her work has primarily focused on employment discrimination; the application of Title IX in a variety of educational settings; and federal criminal defense under conspiracy and racketeering laws.
Jessica has a long-standing commitment to the protection and expansion of civil rights in our state. She has been on the Board of Directors for the American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan for close to 20 years, as well as serving multiple terms on its executive committee and as the affiliate equity officer.
Jessica received her B.A. from the University of Michigan, and her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. She is a member of the Michigan Bar.
